The bar does the job - just above too hot to touch (for me at least) and good dry heatIt comes with a plug “kit”.You slide back the cover of the plug housing. And press the blunt-cut end of the power cord down hard so the two sharp prongs inside bite into the wire sheathing and connects with the wire. The plug cover has a center groove with a sled-curve on the cover leading end. Slide that side in first and forces the wire down in the plug case and holds it.Really simpler than it sounds. I think unnecessary.
