Got this unit for the family’s lake house. We had an ongoing issue with high humidity in the house due to the proximity to water. This unit does a great job of lowering the humidity for the whole house from about 70% to a more comfortable 50%. What’s amazing is how the dehumidifier works for the entire 1,500 square foot space. The float that turns off the unit when the reservoir is full works flawlessly allowing us to leave it on all night without fear of overflowing.I never knew my living area had such high humidity.My landlord requires I keep humidity in my apartment at below 50%. I've been using this dehumidifier almost non-stop. It's not bad, moves a good amount of air while running (but blows it upwards, so it circulates air around the room.)There's plenty of settings such as "quiet mode" that will run intermittent throughout the night. There's also a "continuous" mode where it will just continue to run (which I mostly use). It's great to use either in the bathroom or outside the bathroom to suck excess moisture out of the air. I also like to run it in my kitchen while doing the dishes. Or the laundry area while doing laundry. Just soaks up excess moisture out of the air and I'm emptying the bucket about once per day.After reading some reviews I decided to order this dehumidifier for our basement. We have a newborn and we reside in the basement of our home, so 40-60% is recommended for the humidity level. People were saying it worked wonders in minutes. I assumed they were exaggerating. Nope, within minutes our humidity in our basement went from a dangerous level of 71% to 65%. We set it at 50 and after just a short time it reached that desired level. At first we had to dump the bucket out 3 times because it literally sucked up so much water so fast. We do have the drain tube but it was nice to dump it ourselves to see how fast it was working. Love the look also and the level reader on the front.This dehumidifier was just what I was looking for. I live in a very humid area of the country and using this dehumidifier made the air in my apartment drier and so much easier to relax and breathe in. The Brand has held up to its claims of easy, reliable operation and the price was very lower than many other similar products on the market. I highly recommend this product.I absolutely love this product… It’s perfect for the basement. I have an Indiana and Michigan basement and it is great all automatic all I had to do is nothing… Of course I had someone who knew what they were doing to set it up for me, but it didn’t take them five minutes… And he was a senior… My home is better.
