So far bottom doesn’t seem to get very cold.Have to make sure it’s level before filling it so cans don’t fall out when opening the door.Love it! I cool down my drinks in my full size fridge and then transfer to the small one where they stay super cold. We've had for a month or so now. It keeps his and her beverages cold enough that we're both satisfied. I've not put a thermometer in it to quantify it. Quantity of beverages held meets our needs with no complaint. So far I would recommend. The negative(s): The top looked as though it had been wiped with a solvent that smeared the finish. Also, the metal trim on the hinge side, top is a bit buckled. I've covered the top and overlook the hinge area trim issue but want to say "Hey factory - poor QC", IMOI bought this for my husband for Father’s Day for his mancave bar area and it is just awesome! He love that the blue light can be switched on and off depending on the vibe he wants to go for. I was worked the drinks wouldn’t be cold as our regular sized fridge, but boy was I wrong. It keeps the beers extra cold!Needed a beverage refrigerator to free up space in our regular refrigerator. I liked this one because it doesn't have a tiny freezer space (which I don't need). The adjustable shelves let me set it up to hold bottles and cans. The handle is an indentation in the upper part of the side of the door, which isn't very convenient for where it's located (on the floor). A handle on the front, or an indentation on the top would be better. But it is what it is.My only issue is with the frame around the door. Although the shipping box was undamaged, the stainless steel bezel at the lower left corner of the door is bent, causing the lower bezel to be misaligned (outward) from the left side bezel. It's just cosmetic and doesn't affect the seal of the door, but, obviously, I'd prefer to not have a new unit with a cosmetic defect like this. I submitted a message to Danby on their support website and aside from the boilerplate autoreply "Thank you for contacting Danby's Customer Care Centre! Your case has been received CASExxxxx and has been placed into priority sequence. We will contact you within 1-2 business days to help resolve your issue"), I've received no response. Says a lot about the company. Hopefully the refrigerator keeps doing its thing for a few years with no other problems, because I don't have much confidence that repairs (warranty or otherwise) would be easy to deal with. The future replacement for this unit almost certainly won't be made by Danby.Edit 12/13/2019: 56 days after submitting my message to Danby on their support site, I received a reply from "Gary" telling me that I should "contact Amazon for damage goods received as that is where you purchased the product." Sorry Danby, not Amazon's fault, nor the shipper's fault. The packaging wasn't at all damaged. Plus, it's 56 days later, so it's a little late to file a claim for damaged goods. Danby would have been better off just not responding, rather than this ridiculous (and very late) reply. As I said in my original review, the future replacement for this unit almost certainly won't be made by Danby. And I'll now add that I would never recommend a Danby product to anyone, specifically because of my experience with their "customer support".Edit 3/17/2020: For those who might have a similar problem and know how to use a Phillips screwdriver: A few days ago we started to hear a loud tapping noise started when the motor was running. I finally got around to checking it out today. It sounded like the fan blade hitting the cover. I unplugged it from the wall and removed the fan cover inside at the back near the top. Plugged it back in and the noise continued. Unplugged it and pulled off the fan blade (it just presses on). Plugged it back in and the noise still continued. I tapped upward on the side of the shaft while it was spinning and the noise stopped. When I tapped downward on the side of the shaft, the noise started again. I was going to remove the bracket that supports the fan motor shaft, but before loosening the screw, I checked to see how tight it was. It was loose. I tapped upward on the shaft so it was quiet, then tightened the screws on the bracket. Replaced the fan blade and fan cover. Now my cosmetically-damaged and poorly-customer-serviced refrigerator is as quiet as it was before (just the hum of the fan). Try this at your own risk and peril. Be sure to unplug the refrigerator at the appropriate times. If you're not sure of what the appropriate times are for it to be unplugged, then don't try this.Love the blue soft light. Reasonable price with a great look.I had an old fridge that my boyfriend had in storage and built my exterior bar area around it. Sadly it went out a few months later. Found this one and it works great, love the blue interior light & it's perfect beer and soda and keeps it plenty cold even in the outside 90+ degree weather. This fridge is everything it said it would be -just what we needed. When we first plugged it in, the setting was way too cold but after reading reviews, I knew to check for that. No issues since. Love the blue light. It is a little louder at times but don't notice it for the most part. Fits a ton!Arrived with no issues. It's not meant to keep drinks cold but rather wine at a low temp. It doesn't hold beer or pop cold.Came with a pretty significant/unsightly dent. I would appreciate if the seller contacted me about this. I would gladly update my review to 4 or 5 starsThe fridge is great for my needs so far. I will try to remember to update the review, in a month or soIt is keeping things very cold for us. A metal water bottle becomes very cold in about an hour. Haven’t kept much food in it yet but it seems like it would be totally fine, I have seen others say they don’t think it would be food safe. I don’t think this is the case, however my unit is being kept in a basement where it is already quite coolI recommend reading the manual well before plugging it in, I almost missed the fact it needs to be upright for 6 hours before being plugged inLet’s be honest tho... you’re buying this cause of the cool blue light. I can confirm it is very coolGot this on sale for $220 CAD and it's honestly a steal for that price, nothing on the market is comparable. The glass window and the blue light adds an awesome ambiance to my room. Tons of space for a mini fridge, people who are complaining about temps, not sure what you expected?? It's clearly stated on the page however there was a fix posted for you. Doing what the other reviewer Sunshine said by removing the back piece with 4 screws, pulling the thermostat lever off and unscrewing the screw with grease on the lower left hand side by the green and yellow wire a few turns counter clockwise can solve that for you. Kudos to him/her for figuring that out, like they mentioned don't over screw it or you'll wake up with a frozen mess. All and all, grab this and if it's on sale GRAB IT, smoking deal!I recently purchased this Danby fridge for my home basement bar. Mainly for cans of beer and pop. love this fridge. It was everything i was looking for. Shipped very quickly and came in perfect condition. cooled down very quickly after plugging it in and I love that you can easily change the tempature as needed. Also love the lock to keep your beer safe! overall very happyWorks well, keeps my beverages nice and cold for my guests and they all mention they like the blue light! I recommend you look around and find the Danby pedestal/drawer, it’s not an exact match for this fridge but it works well for me. I like the extra height off the floor for getting to the bottom shelf. (I only found it at one place that was not amazon). This little fridge is very quiet, looks great and at this price point is a very good deal!
