Got an order of 9 rolls of 8mm rubber rolls for my fitness studio. I was going to get thicker stuff for the weights section but with help from my more experienced rubber floor installer guy, decided the 15 foot rolls would fit the layout with zero end seams to worry about curling, which seemed like a wise decision since I'm not a high volume heavy lifting kind of studio anyway. I got the blue and gray fleck color, since tips I'd read said I'd regret all black as it shows dirt more. Seems about right now that I have it in.The rolls came stacked in a pyramid on a big pallet which would not fit through my door, and the delivery guy did not have a dolly, so I had to unwrap the pallet and pick each roll up and bring it in. They're heavy. You could easily hurt yourself either picking them up or, in my case, it's just dumb luck that when I unwrapped the pallet I didn't get hurt or damage anything, because I cut the plastic wrap and the pyramid of rolls collapsed and they fell down and rolled a bit.I hired a guy to install it for about a thousand dollars. I knew that it wasn't as simple as some people were saying (by this point I'd done so much DIY in the space that I'd learned that nothing is ever as simple as you think it's going to be) and I knew that I didn't want to deal with it. He had the experience dealing with this stuff, and knew how to lay them out and cut them to fit and glue them down and weight them with bricks and had it all done in a fraction of the time it would have taken me to even decide on which YouTube how-to video I was going to trust.He cut and laid out the rough plan, including adequate amounts of overage to allow for any shrinkage. He let it acclimate to the space for 24hrs, then cut it to fit to the wall and used Henry 640 VinylLock to glue it down to the hardwood and plywood floors. He trowelled on the adhesive, said it's very thick and you have to push it really hard to work with it. The end result seems to be great.I don't know how this stuff was cheaper than everywhere else and also had free shipping, but it really helped me stay within my budget, and it ended up looking pretty good. I may update the review after some time and actual foot traffic.Overall a good experience and product so far.This is very heavy, but it is easy to roll out and cut with a utility knife. I use this in my basement and it is perfect for that. My dogs can play on this surface without sliding or scratching it. It is very durable, but soft to walk on and much warmer than the concrete basement floor.Very pleased with this mat, since I installed it a few months ago in my new home gym. Feels great under the feet and looks professional. I used two mats side by side and the seams look perfect together, almost invisible. Very professional. They are quite solid, yet easy enough to cut for trimming to fit. I do have a cat that over to hang out while I workout, so he brings in lots of fur! The fur does stick to the mat, so this is one you will need to vacuum with a light suction often. But then, good as new. The rubbery odor is very low, and getting better by the day. I would highly recommend this for a home gym or any other area that you need the cushion for. But if it is high traffic, I suggest to get the colored dots, not plain black like mine. The dust and fur or dirt will be better disguised between vacuuming.Very pleased with the quality and thickness of this flooring. I've had it for a month now and it's standing up to the beating I put on it from my weights. It looks good, feels good on the feet, lays flat and does it's job.My order was one roll short but was easily resolved with the company. The shipping company was very rude and implied I was lying but the flooring company was very easy to work with and recovered my role within one week. Highly recommend.Purchased 4 rolls to cover home gym floor. All rolls were slightly longer than 15ft which was great since I needed 15 ft 2 inches and had just enough on each roll. Ends were cut square and straight which also helped. Love the floor as it melds together great is good thickness and non-slip - and looks great. The stated colors are ambiguous, I ordered the blue which was listed as blue, baby blue and blue-gray depending on if you look at description, images or actual item when put in cart. I received blue and gray mixed specs when ordering the blue which is exactly what I was hoping and it looks great. It will take a bit of time for smell to completely disappear but after a week it is very faint.Wow!! These are the same as the website that charges over $200 to ship! I bought these for my gym I am trying to build in my basements. They have a very low order at first. We bought these instead of the horse Matt’s because the horse stall mats have a horrible smell. My wife is happy with these.5mm • 4’x15’ - I’m super happy with this rubber mat. It’s high quality, lays nice and flat, stays in place. Exactly what I was looking for, lining my toolbox drawers! Keeps tools in place and dampened the “tin” sound. Now my box not only looks great inside, it now sounds solider than ever due to the rubber absorbing the metallic sounds.This is great for a gym because by the time you get the package indoors you’ll have a six pack and hulk biceps, it’s that heavy. The quality of the rubber is sturdy and it looks good but it has a terrible noxious odor which just fills up the place and it hasn’t abated for more than a week now.
