I use them in closets and a wardrobe due to our humid summers and they work really well.When you first use these, be sure to check them regularly, like at least weekly. You'll find they last for different time periods depending on how much moisture in in the area where you are locating them. We find they work as advertised.These work great and the price was better then the other name brand product I use these in our closet in our bathroom and in our camper they work greatOverall I'm pleased with these moisture absorbers (using them in a few safes, my laundry room, a sunroom that collects dew at the top in the mornings) though I'm using them in Arizona so take that into account.I was surprised to notice though that after hanging two of these up in my sunroom the dew collection on the roof has decreased somewhat to the point of almost being unnoticeable (usually drops fall to the tile every morning with a minor puddle in one corner on humid mornings) though I can still see some drops collecting up top. As for my safes, they're staying nice and dry with just one of these inside. I'd say it's an ok deal for the price.
