Product is very easy to use and empty the container. My one complaint it is louder than I expected. Purchased because description stated how quite it is. I want use in the hallway between bedrooms. I have to turn off at night because gets so loud.Wheels were hard to put onI really like how quiet it runs,brought it to for the humidity in my home.It’s mainly used to help cool my home in the summer timeI got this based on the recommend size on Amazon (I have a 1600 sq ft house and wanted this to go in a kitchen/living room) and bought the 3500 sq ft one.Some warnings about it are:The container for it is back facing, you'll be moving it back and forth if you have it face a wall, or the control panel is opposite you.Its bucket is pretty small. I was hoping to empty it every 2-3 days like my previous humidifier. I tried it once and filled in a day on normal settingsThere is no handle to carry the water bucket or cover to help prevent water slosh. You have to pull back on a slot with your thumb to tilt it open. The water level is so high it will slosh out water every time and you'll end up cleaning up with a towel every time..Definitely a disappointment for a starting humidifier if you are looking to use it with just a bucket and not the hose.Overall, the unit works well in cooling the home. My house is constantly over 60% in humidity during the summer and it constantly feels stuffy and muggy. So i thought a dehumidifier would help.I've had this unit running for about 12+ hours a day for 4 or 5 days now and the house did feel cooler and not as muggy. I don't have to turn on the ceiling fan or lower the thermostat temperature due to the mugginess.Some pros:- it works pretty quiet. With the TV on, it draws out the low humming of the dehumidifier- it has various settings, timers, fan speed and other options- it is small enough to blend in with my furniture and easy enough to move around- decent capacity in drawing the moisture- the unit beeps and stops when the tank is fullSome cons:- the drainage tank is a bit tricky to remove at full capacity. There is no lid or closure to prevent spills- there is a louder rattling/buzzing noise coming from the tank sometimes. Possibly due to the tank being empty or not inserted properly?- i wish the tank capacity is largerI used to have a huge dehumidifier, heavy, bulky, loud, with a large tank that is enclosed. Comparatively speaking, this unit is mich smaller, lighter in weight, easy to move around, quieter, but only holds about 1/3 of the tank capacity.I am skeptical about this unit's claim of 3500 sq. ft coverage. The first level is about 1300 sq ft. My smart thermostat send me alert notifications when humidity reaches over 60%, which is everyday. I set the unit for 40% and it never seems to get below 55%. As soon as i turn it off, it shoots up to 60%. Presumably, the humidity is pretty bad or the unit is not powerful enough for the space.In my opinion, I can feel the change in the air but the humidity level in the house doesn't seem to be affected as much. It is more comfortable during the days but for larger sq ft or a basement environment, it may not be as effective. Hopefully, if I continue to run the unit, I may see the change in humidity level long term.This dehumidifier does work well at removing moisture from the air. I’m using this in a two car garage. It’s smaller than I expected, especially since it’s marketed for 3500 sq ft. I feel pretty confident in saying that is extremely overrated.It does come with caster wheels that are very difficult to snap in place, or at least mine were. I actually had to use a rubber mallet and a half inch wide piece of wood to install one of them. One thing that I don’t like about it, is the lack of a window or water level marker on the tank. This means you have no idea how much water is in the tank until either you actually open it or just wait for it to get full and stop (it does have a full indicator). Another thing to keep in mind, while these type of humidifiers will remove humidity from the air, they will also increase the temperature of the room as well.This was my first summer here in Chicago, and while the temperatures aren’t at high as the Cali desert where I come from, I was not prepared for the HUMIDITY! I’ve noticed that the temp could be in the 80s but with 80% humidity, it gets unbearably stuffy, hot and sticky. Closing the windows and running this dehumidifier definitely brought down the humidity level and helped with the discomfort of the stuffiness, but I didn’t like that it blew out warm air that was almost counterproductive to the summer heat. This unit will definitely come more in handy when it’s cooler and humid (which seems to get high humidity after it rains), but not so much by adding to the summer heat unfortunately.
