I like that these are rechargeable/eco friendly & don’t need to be plugged in so you can stick one in a drawer, box, etc.After putting one in my NYC basement bathroom this summer it was the first time of the season that I woke up to a *fully dry* hand towel, so I knew it was working… but wasn’t sure when to recharge it — now that I’ve cycled them a few times I am more familiar with the color variation.Top/left in pic is “black” (really more of a dark orange in my opinion) & bottom/right is straight off the heat charger, a more vibrant light orange.I bought these for my RV. Now mind you, you have to bring them into the house to re-charge. It will release the moisture back into the air when charging. Very east to use. I re-charge them about once a month. The beads on the top start orange and turn dark when needing re-charged. Only down side is it automatically has a set time to re-charge. The beads are orange when dry and black when they are saturated which is a great indicator that it is time to dry the beads. I love that I don’t have to use an oven to dry out the beads like other products.Works great in my safe, does the job it was designed to do.Product delivers as promised.Easy to use, easy to recharge.Great for confined spaces, gun safe, closet or the like.Seems to work quite well. I’m satisfiedBought this to check if it would help to reduce moisture in my car during winter months when snow is tracked in on the mats and take forever to dry. As you may know, the extra moisture can fog up the windows in winter which is annoying and dangerous. Happy to announce that it seems to be working and is a perfect solution. Will monitor and update if needed.My gun safe was 50-51% humidity before getting these and if they didn't work I'd tell you my safe sits at 44% humidity now and I still open it 3 to 4 times a day if I left it for full 24 to 48 hours close I bet it go down close to 40%. Hope they last years to come I haven't had to recharge them yet I'll update you on they if I have and concerns. Great product so far.Update its been 4 days and humidity is at 42% in my gun safe 30 -50% is a safe storage for fire arms I installed rechargeable motion lights as well I bought a probrezze at first my safe was 53% humidity that 1 took it down to 51% adding the 2 pack ones took it to 42% don't buy probreeze humidifier buy these ones in the 2 pack you won't be disappointedMy application of this device was for an enclosed bathroom to help get rid of excess moisture as we will be having guests use that bathroom (it's a guest unit that has NO shower/bath - commonly known as "half-baths") for an upcoming stay. I wanted to keep the space comfortable as there is ventilation in the washroom (connected via HVAC) but no exhaust. Using a hygrometer, it measured 58% for a period of 72 hours prior to using this product. Using this product, the humidity only reduced to 55% for a 3% difference over another 72 hours. Based on the "duration" suggested by the marketing of 1-3 weeks on a single charge, it only lasted for four days before the gel was black. So, is it absorbing humidity? Presumably, sure, since the gel DID turn black. However, it really does not work well for my particular application and given that the space fell under the expected square footage parameters as the bathroom is 7x7 or 49sqft. I can see that some buyers are very satisfied because it worked for them, but unfortunately, did not for me. I will likely have to defer to using more of a vented or constantly-powered solution to get any real reduction.I use these in my gun cases to keep humidity away from my rifles. These would work well in safes as well. A handy product that works well ,due in part to the large surface area. Recharge easily and quickly. Good productI have tested this product for a few days. It generates a little heat while it dehumidifies the room. It's an affordable product that does get the job done. It really helps with my bathroom's humidity.
