I love how they de humidify and how you can recharge them independently using one base. I bought multiple devices and I just recharge one and use the other. I’m contrast to other brands, it seems these can be recharged quite often with minimal deleterious effect.I’ve been losing the humidity battle in a basement safe by loading it up with up to 10 desiccant bags and recharging them every week. And improving the gaskets. And keeping the door closed by hurrying up every time I need to enter. I barely kept it at 50% RH. Put this in and it’s 45% all the time. Easy as pie. And the recharger is much easier than running the convection oven for 2 hours every Saturday morning. What a relief.6 MONTH UPDATE: The winter months have been even better as I easily get 2-3 weeks from the towers before having to recharge. I’ve added a 2nd safe and used some 1/8” foam tape to fill the door gap. Neither safe is water/flood resistant nor air tight. Just a bit of stripping along the door edges and taped holes in the frame. The desiccant keeps up. Much better than those electric heating rods I think. Who wants a warm safe full of ammo?Love this product! I was looking for a dehumidifier for in my chest freezer that I have kegs of home brew in. Moisture was building up and mold was growing. I was hesitant to purchase this seeing as how it was new and no reviews, but I looked up the company and they’re legit and very popular. I didn’t even realize you get two of the dehumidifying tower things when I ordered it, so that was a bonus when I received the package. They have orange beads in them to start, and then when they need to be recharged they turn green. I’ve had them in there for a month and just now recharged them today, so they last a decent amount of time. It comes with a recharging heater to dry them out, and I don’t know exactly how long it took, but definitely less than two hours. This was definitely a great purchase!I was excited to get this because of the reviews and I have a 1968 home with no fan in my bathroom.I started out using 1 but it did nothing, then I used both of them. It works a little.I’ve been using them for about 3 months and I’m ready to buy a bigger one that will take up too much room and have to be plugged in all the time ?.My bathroom is not big what so ever but these are truly designed for a small closet or cabinet.I have a very small bathroom that always felt damp. I purchased these and placed one of them by the sink and another behind the toilet. They usually last about a week before I have to reset them. The process is very easy and just takes about an hour. I am very happy with how they work. Also it’s reusable and I am not buying and throwing away the dehumidifying packs as before.Item works as advertised. You have to be careful when setting a filter on the recharger as it can fail to hit the little button-switch to turn it on. Does recharge in about 2 hours but living in the hot humid SE US I am recharging about every other day. Just a lot of moisture in the air right now.Bought it to help control humidity in boys shower. Small area no good source to get rid of it. Seems to be helping. Have to switch them out every couple of days though. So we will see how long it lasts.They work well. Would purchase again.I ordered this for a very small bathroom and from day 1, it didn’t eliminate any moisture in the room. I used exactly as specified and was very disappointed. Would not recommend!!!!This portable dehumidifier is awesome! We bring it to camp often and it works like a charm. Once the beads on the top turn from orange to green you place it on the base and it dries it up. It is so convenient, portable and a great price. Highly recommend!These work exactly as they are designed! We have one in the main area and our room in our RV! They suck in way more moisture then our other ones. It's quiet when changing/drying and looks pretty on the counters. No complaints might actually buy more for the bathroom and back room of the RV!An excellent dehumidifier! It comes with two cartridges, so I was able to dehumidify one on the base while the other is still working. They were pretty environmentally friendly since they can be reused over and over again. The size of dehumidifier is also ideal, I have a photo of my hand in comparison with the cartridge. It is great for small space such as washrooms and closets!I like the compact size which doesn’t take up our small bathroom counter space. Quiet, easy to operate & to clean.However my expectation to cool off the bathroom during the hot weather were not met, for I wasn’t aware of its (low) heat production during dehumidification.
