I've had various water and humidity problems in my basement for years from wall leaks to A/C freeze ups during hot summers. These required significant cleanup and raised humidity throughout the house. I chose this Dura dehumidifier and am exceptionally happy with it. It has considerable capacity and functions quickly. There are 3 ways to drain water from the machine: 1) Empty the well-designed pull-out drawer and empty the container, 2) attach a hose to the back and it will empty into a drain continuously by gravity, 3) use the built--in pump with a special hose to pump the water into a drain that is well above the level of the humidifier. The LED panel on the top the provides adjustments for drainage type, current and desired humidity, a timer, pump, and more. It also offers a Wi-Fi app that lets you control the machine from your phone, though setting it up can be a little tricky. Of course, Dura provide good customer service in my experience. The machine looks nice and easily rolls around with a pull-up handle. My problems are solved.After waiting for a damaged rubber seal that is located just behind the drain bucket. I finally got it working and connected to my wi-fi. The instructions could be more detailed and the pump feature which is great can not be controlled through the app. So I have to physically go into the basement to make sure the pump is on every time restart the dehumidifier. It has other settings but the user manual does a poor job of explaining all the features.I looked at and tried a few before settling on this one. It really works. Brought the humidity in my basement down to 35% from 70%. Has the continuous drain feature so I can hook up to my pump and forget about it. I was able to install and use the app to set controls from my phone. It also lets me check the humidity level from my phone. Would recommend to purchase this product if you need it.This is a high quality dehumidifier that I wish I had purchased sooner! Works great to dehumidify large spaces very quickly. I like the adjustable panel controls and it’s very easy to empty. Nice quality .Works decentThis is a good dehumidifier but don’t buy it for the pump feature. I got one and it had a pump error code immediately. Amazon replaced it but the replacement arbitrarily turns the pump off and fills the holding tank. This is in a crawl space and not easy to empty. Do yourself a favor and buy a standard dehumidifier and a separate pump. This is not worth the extra moneyPurchased device specifically for wi-fi control and pump drain for unattended use in a limited access basement. Turns out, phone App is very limited and Cannot change Mode, Cannot Turn pump on or off. App only allows you to turn system on and off, change humidity level and schedule on and off times. If you schedule on and off times for energy conservation, pump turns off but does not turn ON when scheduled ON mode causing tank to fill. At this point you have to physically empty tank to restore operation. Very disappointed in control of device through App. As for removing humidity, device works very well.I have attempted numerous times and the app will not connect to the unit. As for the functionality of the unit, I have just started using and will update soon. One thing i noticed after about an hour of use in turbo mode (humidity showing 61%) was that the pump was pumping water into the drain but the tank was not full???
